Cynthia Robicheaux
Cynthia has worked with orchestras for 34 years. She attended Tyler Jr. College and UT Texas/Tyler where she received her Bachelor of Arts. While in High School and College, she studied violin performance with Joseph Kirshbaum. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. Cynthia also worked on a Master of Music Education at the University of Houston. Her first 9 years of teaching were at Bellaire HS. During that time Bellaire HS Orchestra won Honor String Orchestra of Tx for High School. She was also named Young Educator of the year. From there she went to Spring Branch ISD where she worked with Donna Rogers and Lydia Feazell. In 1995 and 1997 the Memorial Middle School orchestra won Honor String Orchestra of Texas for Jr. High. After moving to the Cypress area, Cynthia began teaching at Cy-Fair High School. Cynthia has worked with many orchestras during her career. She is a member of TODA, TMEA and TMAA. Cynthia still lives in Cypress with her husband.
