Sharon F. Paul
Sharon Paul is an educational choral consultant and clinician for American Classics and multiple school districts. She was Choral Facilitator for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and taught secondary music from 1982-2022, ret.
Under Ms. Paul’s direction, choral ensembles received invitations to perform for TMEA, the United Nations, the Vatican, and ASCD. They have earned numerous Awards of Distinction at American Classic Chamber Competition, are festival winners, and earned 39 years of UIL Sweepstakes.
Sharon has conducted the Northwest Houston Festival Chorus in Linz, Austria, TMEA Region choirs, Brownsville All City Choir, CFISD District Choral Festival, and guest conductor, Central Presbyterian Church. She served as soloist, section leader, and conducted choirs with Texas Master Chorale.
Clinics and workshops: five sessions at TCDA, three at TMEA, and professional development for multiple Regions, and school districts.
Professional service: TMEA Region 27 President 2018-22; TCDA High School Vice President 2009-11; TMAA Vice President 2006-08; UIL PML Committee 2021-Present; UIL Sight-reading Committee, Chair; All-State Treble Organizer 2004-05.
Honors: Spotlight Teacher of the Year, Cypress Creek 2001; Who’s Who for America’s Teachers 2005-06; Teacher of the Year (three times) Wunderlich Middle School; Teacher Recognition for Award Winners 2006.
Publications: TCDA Texas Sings, UIL Leaguer, and TMEA Southwestern Musician.
