Victoria Campion is an enthusiastic music educator that believes in elevating and enhancing student’s lives through music. She began her teaching career at Vivian Field Junior High School in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD. When a new opportunity to begin an orchestra program in Humble ISD arose, Victoria accepted the challenge and became the Head of Orchestral Activities for Humble High School. After successfully building an extraordinarily strong and thriving program at Humble High School, she accepted a new teaching position at Cypress Woods High School in Cypress Fairbanks ISD. Once again, Victoria built a strong and thriving orchestra program. Under her direction, the Cypress Woods orchestra program received consistent sweepstakes awards at UIL Contest as well as superior ratings at State and National Festival Competitions. In 2012, her full orchestra entered the Mark of Excellence Competition and placed as national winners. The students also received 3 Tommy Tunes Best Orchestra Awards for their school musical productions. Under Victoria’s direction, the Cypress Woods Orchestra program enjoyed countless quality musical achievements and experiences.
During her teaching career, Victoria was an active member of TMEA, TODA and TMAA. While at Cypress Woods, Victoria served as the Department Head for her Performing Arts Team. She served as a panel judge for the annual Texas Honor Orchestra competition, as well as a panel judge for Texas All State Orchestra chair placement auditions through TMEA. Victoria also served as a professional assessment evaluator for the orchestra programs in Conroe ISD. Along with teaching orchestra, Victoria is an accomplished violinist who continues to enjoy performing professionally whenever opportunities arise. Music will always be her great passion, and she is thankful every day for the opportunity to share her passion for music through teaching.
